Staff & Responsibilities
This division is made up of Street and Alley Maintenance (520) and snow removal (521). The same people working in the Street and Alley Division accomplish Snow Removal. In the case of prolonged storms, individuals trained in snow removal from other departments / divisions supplement the Streets crew. Currently there are seven people in this division. Training is provided by on-the-job training, various state sponsored training programs, and attendance at the Rocky Mountain Snow Conference.

The Streets Division provides for the proper servicing of the community's streets and alley system in accordance with the professional public works standards. The division is responsible to provide snow removal services to the community in accordance with the priority system as established in the approved Snow Plan.

The Streets Division maintains 52 miles of paved streets, 8.5 miles of alleys, and approximately 10 miles of gravel roads.

Summer Season Services
During the summer season the division has a priority list of services the City provides including:

• Crack filling
• Concrete repairs 
• Pothole repair 
• Road and alley grading 

• Sign installation and repairs

• Street sweeping
• Traffic markings, curb, and crosswalk painting

Winter Season Services
During the winter season the division provides the following services:

• Pothole repair
• Sign repair
• Snow removal 
• Street sweeping
